Biography
I am proud to have grown up in Mendon, Michigan, a very small town in the southwest part of the state. After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, I dedicated nearly a decade to working as a high school teacher and coach. That experience provided me with an invaluable perspective on community and individual challenges.
Seeking a different way to serve, I pursued a legal education at Western Michigan University - Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. My legal journey began with impactful work for the Michigan Court of Appeals, followed by practice in diverse areas including insurance defense, criminal defense, and immigration law.
I am truly passionate about the law and operate with a deep sense of fair play. It's my core belief that the law should work effectively for people and families, not the other way around. In my practice, I strive every day to treat each person I encounter with humanity and compassion, aiming to make those values real through my work.
Currently, I live in Zeeland with my wife. Outside the office, we enjoy our tiny puppy and tending to our enormous garden. I am committed to leveraging my background and dedication to achieve positive outcomes for the clients I serve at Parakletos Law.
